About this board game

Fiesta Mexicana is a board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Released in 2020, it challenges players to serve delicious dishes by bidding for food tiles and placing them carefully on their personal boards.

On each turn, players bid for the available tiles. The numbers printed on your player board determine both the bids you can make and the spaces where food tiles may be placed. This creates a close connection between your choices during the auction and the arrangement of your growing feast.

Planning can become difficult when no available tile fits your current board position. In that situation, you may rotate your player board 90 degrees. This gives you a new starting position with different numbers for bidding and new possibilities for tile placement.

• Bid for food tiles during each turn.

• Rotate your board when you cannot place a tile.
• Complete task cards for additional scoring opportunities.

The aim is to fill your player board with as many point-potent food tiles as possible. Clever bidding and precise placement are essential, but completing your task cards by the end can also improve your chances of winning.

With its combination of auction decisions, changing board positions, tile placement, and task completion, Fiesta Mexicana invites players to adapt their plans throughout the game. Every bid can affect where food goes next, making each turn part of the larger challenge to create the most successful party spread.
