The media is captivated by an unorthodox killer known as The Tormentor. Her victims are placed in elaborate deathtraps that can be escaped—in theory—while investigators continue searching for the reason behind her method.

In this scenario, you find yourself inside Marrek Warehouse, a mid-sized facility used for shipping and fulfillment for various department-store brand catalog sales. The warehouse has earned awards for its efficient floor layout, particularly the arrangement of its pallet racks.

Efficiency is not the only notable feature of the location. Its state-of-the-art security system uses timed locking and unlocking mechanisms for every exit, including the bay doors. Whoever is in charge—management, or perhaps the killer—can control everything entering and leaving the warehouse.
