Fireball Island: The Curse of Vul-Kar – Crouching Tiger, Hidden Bees! is a smaller expansion for 2–4 players, with an approximately 60-minute play time. Released in 2018, it adds two new threats to the island.

The island is already dangerous, and this expansion makes it even more unpredictable. Alongside the familiar danger of fireballs, players must contend with a crouching tiger and a swarm of hidden bees.

• Crouching tiger: Place the tiger on the table next to the board, press down, and launch it toward your foes in a new dexterity shot.
• Hidden bees: Put the small yellow marbles into the beehive, then pour them through Vul-Kar to unleash a swarm.

The tiger adds a direct dexterity challenge, turning the space beside the board into part of the action. Aim your shot toward opposing players and see where the launched threat goes.

The bees create a different kind of spectacle. Their individual size may be small, but their numbers make up for it as the yellow marbles pour through Vul-Kar and spread mayhem across the island.
