About this board game

Fired Up is a futuristic spectator game for 2–5 players, with sessions lasting around 90 minutes. Set in a near future where entertainment has evolved beyond traditional stadium sports, it places players in premium seats for a spectacular cyberspace arena battle.

You are not one of the fighters. Instead, you influence the digital athletes competing in a bloodless conflict sport and bet on the champions you want to see succeed. The goal is to have the most fun while the arena’s warriors battle for survival.

Each round, players roll dice to determine how best to influence the action. During the action selection phase, your action dice can be used to affect the fighters in the arena. At the same time, players secretly bet on specific highlights they would like to see happen, adding a personal stake to the unfolding spectacle.

Once action selection is complete, the fighters attack one another during the combat phase. Their confrontation drives the game toward its decisive conclusion, as the arena becomes increasingly dangerous for the digital warriors.

• Play as a premium-seat spectator rather than a fighter.
• Roll action dice to influence the warriors.
• Secretly bet on champions and desired highlights.
• Watch combat resolve until at most one fighter remains.

Fired Up combines dice-driven influence, secret betting, and arena combat in a larger-than-life vision of future entertainment. The game ends when at most one fighter is left in the arena, and the person who had the most fun wins.
