About this board game

Firestorm Armada is an action-packed starship combat game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Released in 2009, it is set in the Firestorm Universe, where war has erupted around the Terran Worlds.

The Invaders have plunged race after race into the abyss of conflict, and no force has yet been able to stop them. Now the Terran Alliance must respond with the full capability of its military machine, placing powerful fleets at the heart of the struggle.

Players take the role of a Terran commander, an Invading fleet commander, or a commander from one of the outlying star systems allied with the Terrans. Each side enters the conflict with its own place in the wider war, and every battle asks a central question: will you defend the Terran Worlds or join the invasion?

• Command fleets containing frigates, cruisers, battleships, and transport ships.
• Play as a Terran defender, an Invader, or an allied outlying star system.
• Use models, game cards, templates, tokens, and supporting background material.

The game includes primarily resin models with some white metal components. A full-color rule book supports the miniatures and provides the framework for battles among the fleets.

Alongside the rules and models, Firestorm Armada includes decks of game cards, templates, tokens, historical background documents, and much more. Together, these components support a richly presented space conflict centered on the fate of the Terran Worlds.

Choose your allegiance, assemble your fleet, and enter a war in which defenders and invaders clash among the stars. Who will you be?
