About this board game
First-Class Letters is a roll-and-write word game for 1–100 players that plays in about 20 minutes. Over 7 rounds, players use letters rolled on dice to write words on their sheets.
Every word must be placed in alphabetical order on your sheet. If your words fail to stay in order, they are cancelled out, making each new entry an important choice.
Two special dice shape the challenge each round. The “dead letter” die provides a letter that players must not use, while the “priority mail” die provides a letter that must be included. Alongside the other rolled letters, these requirements define the possibilities for each word.
- Roll-and-write word-game format
- 7 rounds of play
- Words must remain in alphabetical order
- Dead letter die: a letter you cannot use
- Priority mail die: a letter you must use
- Competitive, cooperative, and solo play
Players write a word each round using the available letters, as much as they can, while managing the restrictions imposed by the dice. The combination of word-building and alphabetical placement creates a focused puzzle throughout the game.
First-Class Letters supports competitive, cooperative, or solo play, so the same central word challenge can be approached in different ways. Whether played with a single player or a group of up to 100, the game delivers its letter-filled challenge across a compact 20-minute session.
