About this board game

Flame & Fang is a cooperative adventure game for 1–4 players that plays in about 60 minutes. Players guide a group of newly hatched dragons through a harsh world where survival is uncertain and an evil presence has begun to stalk them.

Long thought extinct, the dragons must grow, mature, and overcome the obstacles revealed throughout their story. Each player controls an individual dragon, working with the others to navigate a series of adventures and turn new pages that continue the tale.

Every dragon must balance three different aspects of its nature: the need to fight, the desire for flight, and the thirst for the hunt. On each turn, players draw and play cards to shape their plans and respond to the dangers ahead.

• Fly around the board and explore the adventure.
• Gather resources and upgrade abilities.
• Battle enemies threatening the dragons.
• Craft decks and manage hands to improve future choices.
• Coordinate actions through cooperative planning.

Success depends on how well the group combines its dragons’ abilities and manages the opportunities in hand. Action selection and careful cooperation are essential as players decide when to move, prepare, gather what they need, or confront danger.
