Flash Point: Fire Rescue – Veteran and Rescue Dog is a promotional character set for 2–6 players, with a playing time of 45 minutes. Released in 2013, it adds two distinctive characters to the Flash Point: Fire Rescue experience.

The Veteran and Rescue Dog were originally given to backers of the Flash Point: Fire Rescue – Extreme Danger Kickstarter campaign. They are now available for purchase, giving players access to both characters, their character cards, and their unique miniatures.

• The Veteran: An experienced firefighter who can avoid being knocked down and support nearby firefighters by giving them extra action points.
• The Rescue Dog: A character limited to only a few actions, but with more action points to spend.
