About this board game

Flowers: A Mandala Game is a tactical card-and-tile game for 2–4 players, with plays lasting around 30 minutes. Build mandalas through careful card play, win majorities, and collect flower tiles to create valuable blossoms.

The game features three mandalas, each beginning with one black and one white half-flower tile. The 36 half-flower tiles are divided into black and white decks, with six flower colors represented across their opposite sides. Players also receive cards in those six matching colors.

On your turn, play one or more cards of the same color onto a mandala. Cards remain face up when that color is new to the mandala, but are turned face down if the color is already present. Playing a single card lets you draw two cards, while playing two or more cards means you draw none.

• Compete for each mandala’s claim token by having more face-up cards than your opponents.
• Complete all six face-up colors to destroy a mandala and award its flower tiles.
• Use collected tiles to form complete flowers, flipping a flower tile face down when it matches an existing color.

When a mandala is destroyed, the player holding its claim token takes one tile, while the player with the second-most cards takes the other. New black and white tiles then create a fresh mandala, keeping the contest moving until someone completes a third flower.

In Flowers, each separate flower half scores points equal to the number of flowers shown on it. Complete flowers can multiply those values: a 3x tile triples the flowers on the other tile, while two flower-bearing tiles double the value of the tile with fewer flowers. The player with the most points wins. The game is manufactured from FSC-certified material.
