About this board game

Fluffy Valley is a cooperative game for 1–4 players that takes about 25 minutes to play. Work together to prepare your burrow for winter by gathering berries, honey, and straw and bringing these resources to safety before the end of round 9.

Each turn, move one of your four prairie dogs to an empty location. You can gather resources outside, search the fox’s tunnel for resources or dangers, exchange rotten berries at the hedgehog’s shop, ask the snake to chase away a weasel, or enlist the beaver to upgrade some of your actions in exchange for straw.

Planning is essential because resources first go onto your resource table before they can be brought into the burrow. You may need to spend a prairie dog to move supplies into safety, while making sure your colony still has enough workers to gather what it needs.

• Gather berries, honey, and straw for the winter.
• Use helpful animal locations to trade, remove threats, or improve actions.
• Manage danger cards that can disrupt your plans.
• Choose from three difficulty settings, including options suited to younger players.

At the end of every round, after all prairie dogs have moved, reveal a danger card. An eagle may carry off a prairie dog for the next round, a weasel may block an available spot, and a fox may steal resources from the table. These threats keep the group focused on both immediate actions and long-term preparation.

With winter approaching after nine rounds, every decision matters. Coordinate your prairie dogs, protect your supplies, and fill the burrow in time—or face an uncomfortable winter in Fluffy Valley.
