Football Highlights: The Dice Game is a football-themed dice game for 1–4 players, with a listed play time of 45 minutes. It is a standalone expansion for Baseball Highlights: The Dice Game, featuring mostly simultaneous play and a 2021 release.

Each round, the active player rolls the 11 Play dice and any unlocked Power dice, placing them in the matching areas of the game board. They then choose one area and use its dice to cross off boxes on the corresponding track of their player sheet.

While the active player makes their selection, inactive players also stay involved. Each chooses one die from two different areas and uses those dice to cross off two boxes in the matching tracks on their own sheets.

• Roll Play dice and unlocked Power dice into six matching board areas.
• Advance through six main tracks and the bonus Field Goal, Breakaway Run, and Yards After Catch tracks.
• Use yardage progress to pursue touchdowns or attempt field goals.
• Watch the Defense die, which can cost yardage on runs or passes.

Crossing off boxes advances your Yardage marker down the field. Reaching the End Zone scores a valuable 7-point touchdown, while you can choose to kick a 3-point Field Goal whenever you are within kicking range.

Every roll presents choices between immediate progress and future opportunities. The Defense die can disrupt your runs or passes, so careful decisions matter throughout the drive. When the game ends, the player with the most points wins.
