About this board game

Footy Manager is a print-and-play football management game for 1–8 players, released in 2011. Start in the lowly fourth division and guide your team through the highs and lows of club football, from ambitious signings and training plans to painful injuries and difficult defeats.

Take control of the decisions that shape your club. Sign new players, train the squad you already have, sell unwanted players, expand your stadium, find sponsors, and hire or fire staff. Every choice can help your team move toward glory—or leave it struggling to keep up.

When match day arrives, select your lineup and formation before taking on 31 other unique teams, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Winning can put the world within reach, while losing may make the dream of glory seem much farther away.

Thanks to changing player development and unexpected events, no two campaigns need to unfold in the same way. Players may retire, stop improving, request transfers, or suffer injuries at the worst possible moment, creating fresh challenges throughout each play-through.

Footy Manager can be played solo or with friends. All you need are the printable files, the rules, a pencil, an eraser, and a couple of six-sided dice. Whether you have a quiet evening, a long trip, or time to fill during a commute, you can print the sheets and begin building your club.
