About this expansion

For Sale: Advisors is a 2021 board game for 3–6 players, with a play time of 45 minutes, that adds a new advisor-bidding phase to the classic game For Sale.

Players begin by competing to hire advisors. These advisors then assist throughout the next two phases, creating a broader structure for the familiar process of acquiring houses and later selling them.

The game unfolds across three connected stages:

• Bid to hire advisors at the start of the game.
• Acquire houses with advisor assistance.
• Sell houses with those advisors continuing to assist.

This added opening phase gives For Sale: Advisors a distinct arc: players first make decisions about which advisors to hire, then use their assistance during the house-acquisition and house-selling phases. The result is an expanded version of the classic For Sale format, built around the relationship between the advisors chosen at the beginning and the phases that follow.

Designed for groups of 3–6, For Sale: Advisors offers a shared experience that combines bidding with the established sequence of acquiring and selling houses. Its three-phase structure makes the advisor auction an important starting point before the game moves into its later stages.
