About this expansion

Formula D: Circuits 1 – Sebring & Chicago is a 2009 expansion for Formula D that supports 2–10 players and offers approximately 60 minutes of racing across two distinctive tracks.

The first circuit takes drivers to Sebring, Florida, a track stretching almost 6 kilometers. Its layout alternates between straight stretches, quick curves, and slow, technical turns, creating a varied test of racing skill.

Set on a former military training camp turned airfield, Sebring has been a North American racing staple since the 1930s. The track hosts the annual 12 Hours of Sebring, an endurance race run on a slightly uneven course in Florida’s hot and humid conditions.

  • Sebring: A long, varied circuit combining straights, fast curves, and technical turns.
  • Chicago: An urban street circuit in the East Park area, featuring alternating curves and straight lines.

The second track brings the race into the streets of Chicago. Drivers pass the impressive Aon Center, cross Lake Shore East Park, and navigate its three tightly woven lanes, where collisions can occur.

The Chicago route then continues along the inner port before sending racers across two vertigo-inducing bridges. With its urban terrain and changing sequence of corners and straights, it offers a very different setting from Sebring.

Whether you prefer the historic endurance-racing atmosphere of Florida or the intense city traffic of Chicago, Formula D: Circuits 1 adds two contrasting environments to the Formula D racing experience.
