About this board game
Freebooter’s Fate is a skirmish miniatures game of pirate combat for 2–16 players, with games lasting around 60 minutes.
The game brings together rapacious pirates, grog-swilling goblins, mysterious assassins, steadfast Imperials, merciless mercenaries, and a colourful cast of knaves, villains, heroes, ladies, and wenches with guns. Parrots and a thousand peg legs add to its distinctive pirate atmosphere.
The separately published, 116-page softcover rulebook contains everything needed to play, along with the complete list of crews and a selection of scenarios. It also features photographs of the available miniatures, concept art, advice, background stories, a shanty, and cover art by Paul Bonner.
- 40 fate cards featuring numbers and symbols
- Two sets of six hit location cards
- 12 event cards
- Illustrated cards showing figure statistics
- Miniature figures, sold separately
The cards are at the heart of Freebooter’s Fate. One pack is enough for a game regardless of the number of players or characters involved, and the cards are bilingual where appropriate, making them suitable for use with either the German or English rulebook.
Gather a crew, choose a scenario, and face off in a lively tabletop clash filled with guns, colourful factions, and pirate-themed character. With its dedicated rulebook, illustrated cards, and broad range of crews, Freebooter’s Fate offers a complete setting for miniature skirmishes on the high seas.
