About this board game

Full Throttle! is a betting and card-drafting board game for 2–6 players, playable in about 40 minutes. Six souped-up mopeds race three times around a racetrack while players try to predict which machines will finish in the top three.

No player controls the mopeds directly. Instead, the racers move in a self-controlled manner as racing cards are revealed each round. The mopeds must navigate around the track, avoiding getting stuck behind other mopeds or at choke points.

After the movement phase, players draft racing cards to use as their hidden bets. The cards you choose help form your betting collection, but they also make those mopeds go slower during future movement. This creates a tense balance between supporting a favorite and potentially holding it back.

• The race ends when the first three mopeds cross the finish line.

Watch the changing positions, judge which racers still have a chance, and choose your cards carefully. The winning strategy may involve backing a likely champion, collecting cards for the places below first, or managing the effects your choices have on the race itself.
