About this board game

Funemployed is a card-based party game for 3–20 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. Everyone is trying to become employed by applying for real jobs with completely unreal qualifications.

Each player uses their available qualifications to make a case for why they are the best fit for the job. The challenge is not simply to name your cards, but to find innovative ways to use them in a convincing story.

• Apply for real jobs such as astronaut, lawyer, or priest.
• Work with unusual qualifications, including a dragon, the ability to speak panda, or a DeLorean.
• Role-play and act as though you are taking part in a job interview.
• Convince the other players that your qualifications make you the strongest candidate.

Every application creates an opportunity for creative storytelling. A qualification that seems completely unsuitable at first can become the centerpiece of your interview if you present it in an inventive way. The game invites players to build their own explanations and perform them for the table.
