About this expansion

Furnace: Interbellum is an expansion for 1–5 players with an approximate play time of 60 minutes, extending Furnace into the twenties and thirties of the twentieth century.

Set during the interwar period, Interbellum brings the industrial character of the era to the table through beautiful buildings and structures inspired by Art Deco, Constructivism, and Bauhaus. It is designed for players who are already familiar with Furnace.

The expansion adds a broad collection of new content to the base game. New Company cards and Capitalists introduce fresh possibilities, while new abilities give the game additional ways to develop your industrial enterprise.

Interbellum is best experienced with all of its elements added to the base game, creating the expansion’s full interwar-era experience. However, you can also add its content piece by piece if you would prefer to become familiar with the new additions gradually.

With its expanded player support and dedicated Agents for solo and two-player games, Furnace: Interbellum offers new ways to return to Furnace while surrounding the experience with striking industrial design from the period. Released in 2022, it is a substantial addition for players ready to explore the game beyond its original setting.
