Galactic Cruise: Advancements is an expansion for 1–4 players with a play time of 150 minutes, introducing modular ways to develop departments, technologies, locations, and shuttle construction.

Play the included modules individually or combine them in any configuration. As your company grows more industrious and innovative, well-developed departments become more prosperous and frequently used technologies become increasingly efficient.

The Cabin-Matching module replaces the base-game blueprints with 48 new blueprints. Rather than placing half-cabins in the middle of each segment, these designs position them on the left, center, or right of their tops and bottoms. A segment must create a full cabin with previously installed segments in order to be built into a shuttle.

The Advanced Technologies module adds upgradeable versions of the base-game technology tiles. Each Technology begins with the same ability as its base-game counterpart, then uses a technology track along its bottom to determine how that ability can improve.

The Advanced Locations module upgrades locations across the game when a certain number of Developments have been built. After an upgrade, a location grants bonuses based on the number of Developments each player has built adjacent to it.
