Garden Guests

About this board game

Garden Guests is a competitive path-building game for 2–6 players, with a playing time of about 30 minutes. Players or teams race to create a continuous route across a garden board decorated with beautiful paper cut art.

On each turn, players can draw cards, give cards to a teammate, or use cards to build a tower or extend their path. Teams may consist of one player or multiple players, making communication and card sharing an important part of the challenge.

Towers are essential for connecting your base to the garden’s network. They can also link one section of your route to another, but an unconnected tower is vulnerable: if an opponent has the cards needed to make a larger tower, they can take it for themselves.

• Build a continuous path across the garden board.
• Match card colors to the spaces along the route.
• Use towers carefully to establish and extend connections.
• Plan around permanent paths, since completed routes cannot be changed.

Once a path is created, it remains permanent. This can force opposing teams to wind their own routes around yours, turning each successful connection into both progress for your team and a possible obstacle for your opponents.

In Garden Guests, every card can support a larger plan: draw what you need, pass the right cards to a teammate, protect valuable towers, and claim the best route through the garden. The first team to build a path all the way across the board wins.
