About this board game

Gem Getter Pro is a competitive mining game for 1–99 players that plays in around 30 minutes. Across nine rounds, players roll for available polyomino dig patterns, choose a pattern, and dig it into their mine before collecting gems.

Each round presents an opportunity to build an efficient mine while pursuing valuable scoring conditions. Thoughtful placement matters: digging efficient rows and columns, as well as working around boulders, can earn bonus gems and help turn your mine into the most productive excavation.

Two additional resources add flexibility to your plans. Oil keeps the digging machines running longer and provides bonus digs, while natural gas helps you choose a future dig pattern with greater flexibility. Balancing these resources with the patterns available from each roll is key to making the most of your nine-round expedition.

With eight unique mines to explore and two roll sheets to choose from, Gem Getter Pro offers plenty of variety from game to game.
