Genshin Tarot

About this board game

Genshin Tarot is a 60-to-90-minute solo or cooperative deck-upgrading board game for 1 to 4 players, set against the challenges of Teyvat.

Each player creates a party of four Genshin Characters, dealt randomly from a pool of 22 playable characters. Every character contributes several cards unique to them, giving each player a distinct deck and a different way to approach the game.

Rounds are divided into a simultaneous player phase and an enemy phase. During the player phase, everyone uses cards from their hand to defeat the waves of enemies in front of them or offer help to their allies.

• Play solo or cooperate with up to three other players.
• Build a party of four characters from the available pool.
• Use character-specific cards to create a distinct deck.
• Battle enemy waves before facing the arriving boss.

During the enemy phase, surviving monsters attack the players, and enemy ranks are replenished. When any one player defeats all the enemies in front of them, the boss arrives. The group wins by defeating the boss, but the game is lost if any player’s HP ever reaches 0.

The current Swords Minor Arcana Expansion adds 14 more playable characters. Future expansions are planned to include 44 additional characters, four more bosses, a revamped ley line system, dendro reactions, and more, giving Genshin Tarot room to grow beyond its core challenge.
