About this board game
Ghostbumpers is a trick-taking game for 3–6 players, played in about 30 minutes, set during a terrifying fairground bumper-car ride.
The monsters are terrorizing the fairground, and you must dive into the chaotic ride while trying not to lose your nerve. In this game, taking tricks is not always something to celebrate: each trick carries the risk that your character gets scared.
That creates a tense choice throughout play. You do not want to win too many tricks, but playing more bravely can lead to more points. The challenge is to decide how much nerve to show while avoiding the danger that comes with every trick you take.
