About this board game

Giza: The Great Pyramid is a board game for 3–4 players, with an approximate play time of 90 minutes, in which rival factions compete to contribute the most work to Pharaoh’s pyramid.

Each player leads one of four factions seeking Pharaoh’s favor. You have ten years to outperform the other factions, organize your people, and make the greatest contribution to the enormous tomb at Giza.

Success depends on balancing the different kinds of work your people must undertake. They need food to survive, while the pyramid demands strenuous labor and Pharaoh’s eternal resting place calls for beautiful decoration.

• Farm and fish to feed your people.
• Move giant stone blocks through back-breaking labor.
• Create exquisite artworks to beautify Pharaoh’s eternal rest.

Pharaoh is worried that his tomb is behind schedule and may not be completed in time for his funeral. To encourage progress, he offers great rewards to the faction that contributes the most work on the pyramid during the coming decade.
