Glorantha: The Gods War – Empires

Glorantha: The Gods War – Empires is an expansion for Glorantha: The Gods’ War, supporting 3–8 players with an approximate play time of 120 minutes. Released in 2019, it adds four new factions and an oversized map designed to host up to eight players at once.

The expansion includes 44 high-quality figures representing the Earth, Invisible God, Sea, and Moon factions. Each faction brings its own distinctive collection of figures, from Earth’s Axe Maidens and Earth Queens to the Sea faction’s Mermaids and Sea Serpents.

• Earth: Axe Maidens, Earth Queens, the Behemoth and the Titans, Pamalt, and Genert.
• Invisible God: Knights, Wizards, and Specters.
• Sea: Mermaids, Sea Serpents, the Kraken and the Churner, and Magasta.
• Moon: Assassins, Selenes, the Crimson Bat and the Red Goddess, and Sedenya.

Every faction comes with an Empire sheet, a Ziggurat tile, a Temples tile, six Shrine tiles, and six Gift tiles. The Invisible God faction has different buildings and more gifts, giving its component set a distinct structure within the expansion.

An oversized 6–8 players map provides the centerpiece for larger games, while the new faction materials broaden the available choices for groups already playing Glorantha: The Gods’ War. With its substantial figure collection and four themed factions, Glorantha: The Gods War – Empires is a major addition for larger sessions.
