About this board game

GOLDblivion is a medieval-fantasy gold rush board game for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 80 minutes. Build a colony, conquer territories, and be the first to collect 10 gold ingots to become King or Queen of GOLDblivion.

At the heart of the game is a double-deck-building system. You manage separate decks for combat and development, creating two distinct paths to improve your position and pursue your long-term strategy.

Every turn begins by removing a card from your hand. Place it beneath a chosen section of your player board, where it provides a precious resource for the rest of the game. This action also naturally cleans unwanted cards from your deck as your colony develops.

• Two decks: Manage separate combat and development cards.
• Territory conquest: Use combat cards to defeat enemies beneath hexagonal territory tiles.
• Card combinations: Work with Elf, Dwarf, Human, and Building cards.
• Gold race: Gather 10 gold ingots before your opponents.

Combat is shaped by the territory you choose. The number of free spaces around a hexagonal tile determines how many cards you draw from your combat deck to defeat the enemy beneath it. Territories become increasingly stronger, but they also offer greater rewards.
