About this expansion

Gosu: Kamakor is a 20-minute game for 2–4 players, introducing the mysterious Shadow Clan and its goblins from the other side of the Portal.

The Shadow Goblins resemble the Dark Goblins from the main game, sharing two important powers: Trapping and Zombie Mutation. Their arrival adds new possibilities to play while expanding the story of goblins thrown through the Portal by trapping powers.

Some Shadow Goblins enter play already trapped. This unusual condition helps compensate for their greater power and creates a distinctive way for these cards to arrive in the game. Other goblins bring a new kind of action that can be used during a turn.

These actions are tied directly to the goblin card carrying the power. For example, the action Trap Zäxg lets you choose one free card and destroy it. To perform it, you trap Zäxg for free; the action itself requires no additional cost beyond trapping the goblin with the power.

  • Shadow Clan: Discover goblins arriving from beyond the Portal.
  • Shared powers: Use Trapping and Zombie Mutation.
  • New gameplay: Play goblins that arrive trapped or unlock free actions by trapping them.
  • Online play: Available in real time through Board Game Arena.

With its trapped arrivals and action-bearing goblins, Gosu: Kamakor gives the Shadow Clan a distinctive presence. Released in 2011, it offers a compact way for 2–4 players to explore these new powers and the unsettling reports surrounding the Portal.
