About this board game

Grand Conquest is an abstract strategy board game for 2–4 players with a listed play time of 60 minutes. It builds on earlier versions of Donald Benge’s Conquest while adding several new features and components.

The game introduces camels, catapults, and siege engines, expanding the range of elements found in the Conquest series. A moat now surrounds the five home points, adding another distinctive feature to the game’s setting and board.

Grand Conquest is presented in a tube package with a vinyl roll-out map. The pieces use more distinguishable colors than those in previous versions, making the components easier to tell apart during play.
