About this board game
Great War at Sea: Jutland is a two-player naval wargame with a playing time of about 120 minutes, covering World War I operations in the North and Baltic Seas and around the British Isles.
This extensively updated edition of GWAS Vol. II: The North and Baltic Seas includes more than 40 scenarios. Recreate the famous Battle of Jutland alongside the Scarborough, Lowestoft and Gorleston Raids, the Battle of Dogger Bank and Helgoland Bight.
The campaign also covers the bitter naval war in the Baltic Sea. Here, the smaller Imperial Russian Navy seeks opportunities against larger German forces, with Russian cruiser raids and the climactic Battle of Moon Sound represented among the scenarios.
Players command ships from the major fleets, while Sweden, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands are also represented. The Royal Navy includes vessels ranging from paddle-driven minesweepers to battle cruisers and early aircraft carriers. Germany brings its High Seas Fleet, supported by zeppelins and submarines, while Russia fields modern dreadnoughts, armored cruisers and older battleships.
- Operational map: A 34-by-22-inch map covering the North Sea, Baltic Sea and waters around the British Isles.

With 32-mile sea-zone campaign scale, 420 one-inch counters and 420 half-inch counters, Great War at Sea: Jutland combines broad operational movement with detailed surface engagements.
