About this expansion
Great War Commander: British Expeditionary Force is a board wargame expansion for 2–3 players, with games lasting about 120 minutes. Released in 2020, it adds Great Britain and their Dominions as a new faction to the Great War Commander series.
This expansion includes units, cards, and scenarios representing the fighting forces of this great nation. Its dedicated British content features a 72-card Fate Deck and a 9-card Strategy Deck, designed to highlight the faction’s historical strengths and weaknesses.

The updated Random Scenario Generator adds the new nationality and battles to a system built around varied map configurations, force structures, and combat situations. This creates an almost unending variety of setups and gives Great War Commander even more replayability, with each game offering the chance to tell a different story.
Like its mother game, Combat Commander, Great War Commander: British Expeditionary Force is designed as a board wargaming experience that can be revisited repeatedly. Please note that it is not a standalone game; ownership of Great War Commander is required to play this expansion.
