Groo: The Game – Expansion Set is a 55-card expansion for 2–6 players, with games taking about 45 minutes. Released in 1997, it expands the original Groo: The Game and increases the deck from 60 cards to 115.

The expansion does not introduce any new card types. Instead, it doubles the number of available cards, giving players more of the options already found in the base game while making the experience easier to play.

One of its most important additions is increased player support. The base game proposed play for up to four players, while this set allows up to six players to join the game.
