About this expansion
Ground Floor: Overfunding Achievements is a mini-expansion for the base game Ground Floor, supporting 2–6 players with an approximately 90-minute play time. Originally distributed as Kickstarter bonuses for Ground Floor’s 2012 campaign, it adds four optional modules to the game.
The first module introduces new tiles. Add the Inheritance and Social Media Specialty tiles, the Skyline Achievement Floor Improvement tile, and two Niche Market Tenant Improvement tiles to their matching components in the base game. Two Floor Cost Rulers also help players see the cost of a new Floor Improvement tile.
- New Tiles: Add Specialty, Floor Improvement, and Tenant Improvement tiles to the base game.
- Economic Scenarios: Draw one Scenario card to determine how the Economic Forecast deck is constructed, including the new Windfall and Great Depression cards.
- Event Deck: Draw one Event card before the game begins; it affects one board area for the duration of the game.
- Architect’s Office: Add a new area to the main board for players to visit.
The Economic Scenario module includes five Scenario cards and changes the composition of the Economic Forecast deck by adding Windfall to the Boom cards and Great Depression to the Depression cards. This gives the game a selected economic direction before play begins.
With its mix of new tiles, forecast cards, event effects, and an additional business area, Ground Floor: Overfunding Achievements offers several ways to customize a Ground Floor session. The expansion includes two Specialty tiles, one Floor Improvement tile, two Tenant Improvement tiles, two Economic Forecast cards, one Architect’s Office tile, five Economic Scenario cards, and seven Event Deck cards.
