About this board game

Gudnak is a tactical expandable card game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 25 minutes. Two players battle on a 3×3 grid, while four players can use a larger 5×5 grid.

Choose a faction and build a deck of Heroes and Tactics before launching an assault on your opponent’s Stronghold. At the same time, you must defend your own, creating a fast-paced contest where positioning and tactical decisions matter.

Gudnak uses symmetrical deckbuilding: every player has the same number of tactics and fighters, with fighters sharing the same power. Unlike some card games where parts of a deck may remain unused, every card in your deck gets used in every game.

• Play with 2 players on a 3×3 grid or 4 players on a 5×5 grid.
• Build a faction deck featuring Heroes and Tactics.
• Besiege the opposing Stronghold while protecting your own.
• Explore the Core set’s four factions and additional expansion factions.

The project includes the Core set, featuring four factions, along with the first two expansions: the Auroxi and the Rotborn. Each expansion adds a new faction, a new card type, and dozens of neutral and faction-specific cards.

With easy-to-learn rules and deep tactics, Gudnak offers a focused card-battle experience that supports both quick two-player games and larger four-player clashes. Its expandable faction system gives players new ways to build decks and approach each Stronghold siege.
