Habitats: XL Expansion

About this expansion

Habitats: XL Expansion is an expansion for 2–5 players with a listed play time of 50 minutes. Released in 2019, it adds 16 tiles and three game turns per player to the base game.

The expansion introduces eight animal tiles that need a larger habitat than any of the animals in the base game. These animals can bring more victory points when you fulfill their requirements, giving your growing park new requirements to consider.

Four campsite tiles provide places for your adventurous park visitors to spend the night. You score victory points when a campsite has all of its indicated park connections satisfied. Its value depends on how good its base is for walking to different areas of your park.

• 8 animal tiles: larger habitat requirements and more victory points when their requirements are fulfilled.
• 4 campsite tiles: score points for satisfying all indicated park connections.
• 4 flower tiles: add another tile type to the expansion.
• 3 additional game turns per player: extend the base game with more opportunities to develop your park.

With its larger animals, campsite scoring, and additional flowers, Habitats: XL Expansion broadens the tile selection while extending the game for every player. It is designed to be used with the base game and adds new content across the park-building experience.
