Happy Little Dinosaurs: Hazards Ahead is an expansion for 2–6 players that adds new dangers and surprising effects to a 60-minute game of Happy Little Dinosaurs.

Grab your hard hat: this expansion introduces Hazard tokens, Hazard cards, Lucky Day cards, two new characters, and three new game components. Together, they bring fresh misfortunes and new ways to shake up the game.

When certain Disaster cards are added to the Disaster Area, you can place a Hazard token on another player’s Escape Route. When a Dinosaur meeple reaches a space containing one of these tokens, that player must draw the top card from the Hazard deck and add it face up to their Hazard Area.

Hazard cards feature effects that give players disadvantages throughout the game. They remain in a player’s Hazard Area unless a card effect allows them to be removed, making every unlucky encounter potentially lasting.

• Hazard tokens: Place them on opponents’ Escape Routes through certain Disaster cards.
• Hazard cards: Add ongoing disadvantages when a Dinosaur meeple reaches a Hazard token.
• Lucky Day cards: Help players dodge disasters.
• New content: Includes two new characters and three new game components.

Chaos can arrive in many forms, from facing Bigfoot to getting sucked into a pyramid scheme, while a shooting star might offer a welcome moment of luck. Happy Little Dinosaurs: Hazards Ahead adds unexpected obstacles and new twists to every escape route.
