Heldentaufe is a 90-minute adventure game for 2–5 players, challenging heroes to collect golden monster teeth and return first to prove their worthiness for the Hero’s council.

The game unfolds across two distinct but connected realms: the peaceful Upper world and the dangerous Netherworld. Heroes travel between them through portals, shifting between exploration, resource gathering, missions, trading, combat, and sudden danger.

In the Upper world, players harvest natural goods, complete missions, and trade items they discover. Somewhere in the dark underworld lies a bright and shiny treasure, but reaching it means facing monsters and traps along the way.

Heldentaufe gives players an unusual change of perspective. Alongside directing their own hero’s next move, they command Netherworld monsters whenever an opponent enters the dark realm. In games with three or four players, temporary alliances can improve the odds against monsters—but unearthed treasure may turn trusted swordmates against one another.
