About this board game

Helionox: The Last Sunset is a deck-building strategy game for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Set in the distant future, it challenges players to compete for influence across human colonies and a variety of worlds.

On each turn, purchase cards from the market using credits, then integrate those cards into your deck for later use. As your deck grows, it can provide increasingly powerful combinations and the resources needed to shape your progress.

• Obtain powerful technology and operatives.
• Gain defense points from purchased cards.
• Overcome social and environmental events spreading across the colonies.
• Establish embassies on different worlds to pursue influence.

Disastrous events create a constant challenge. You may spend defense points to overcome one or more events during your turn, balancing your immediate survival against the development of your deck and your pursuit of influence.

Time is limited: when the last card of the event deck is played, the game ends. The player with the most influence at that point wins. Helionox: The Last Sunset combines market purchases, deck development, resource management, and a race against the advancing event deck in a focused science-fiction strategy experience.
