Here I Stand: 2-Player Diplomacy Deck is a two-player variant in which the Papacy and the Protestants face each other directly while four other major powers continue to influence the game. The listed playing time is 180 minutes, with experienced players completing the variant in under three hours.

This format reshapes Here I Stand for a head-to-head contest without removing the wider political presence of the other major powers. One player takes the role of the Papacy, while the other plays the Protestants, creating a focused diplomatic struggle within the broader game.

The expansion contains 19 new cards for the variant. Its rule adjustments run for approximately three pages, offering a compact rules package for players who want to use this two-player format.

The 2-Player Diplomacy Deck was published in issue 19 of RBM’s C3i Magazine. It was the first set of playing cards published with the magazine, apart from the Rise of the Luftwaffe cards, which needed to be cut apart for use.
