Hero of Weehawken: The Aaron Burr Conspiracy 1805-1807 is a solitaire game for one player, designed to play in about 45 minutes. You take the role of President Thomas Jefferson during a dangerous moment in United States history.

Former Vice President Aaron Burr is somewhere out west, while rumors suggest he is planning an ill-advised military adventure. His actions could bring America to war with Spain—or even amount to treason against the United States.

Your task is a race against the unfolding crisis. First, you must determine Burr’s real plans. Then you must find and arrest him before he can carry them out. Finally, you need to gather enough evidence to convict him at trial.

• Investigate Burr’s intentions before making your move.
• Arrest him before his plan is executed.
• Collect sufficient evidence to support a conviction.

Timing is central to the challenge. Arrest Burr too soon and you may lack the information or evidence needed to know what to charge him with. Wait too long, however, and you may fail to stop his plans. In Hero of Weehawken, your judgment determines whether the conspiracy is exposed in time.

The game includes an 8-page full-color rules booklet with examples of play, an 8.5-by-11-inch map, two 8.5-by-5.5-inch mats for the Plan and Trial, a player aid sheet, 32 square game pieces, and 60 Event cards.
