Heroes of Normandie: Big Red One Edition – Bloody Omaha

About this expansion

Heroes of Normandie: Big Red One Edition – Bloody Omaha is a two-player expansion for Heroes of Normandie, designed for a 60-minute play time. It recreates the 1st American Infantry Division’s landing at Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944.

This Battlepack expands both sides with new forces and support options. American troops can deploy combat engineers from the Big Red One, a battalion of Rangers, an infantry regiment from the 29th Division, and the 743rd American Tank Battalion.

German defenders include a battalion of the Festungkompanie, Panzer-Aufklarungs, and a Panzergruppe from the 2nd Panzer Division. New heroes are available for both factions, alongside a wide selection of additional equipment and support options.

• Four scenarios covering locations from Omaha Beach to a small farm near the coast
• Six new double-sided terrain boards
• High Command, allowing American and German air force support
• Artillery options featuring either explosive or smoke shells

The scenarios offer a range of settings, from the terrible landing on the beach to a quieter, bucolic farm environment. Across these battlefields, players can bring new units, heroes, equipment, artillery, and air support into the fight.

With its focus on the forces involved in the Omaha landing, Bloody Omaha highlights the scale and intensity of the action that gave the beach its infamous name. A copy of the Heroes of Normandie core box is required to play this Battlepack.
