Heroes of Stalingrad is a standalone two-player wargame with games lasting around 120 minutes, set during the decisive Battle of Stalingrad in October 1942.

Using the dynamic HEROES SYSTEM: TACTICAL SCALE, players lead their favourite Hero alongside friendly troops in intense combat across a city devastated by heavy Luftwaffe bombing. The Russians refuse to surrender Stalingrad, while German and Soviet forces fight for control of the ruined city.

Combat unfolds from room to room as buildings are taken, lost, and retaken. This brutal close-quarters struggle is the Rattenkrieg, or “war of the rats,” with every shattered building becoming part of the battle.

• Play as a Hero alongside your troops.
• Battle through the ruins of Stalingrad at a tactical scale.
• Use grenades, machine guns, artillery, and tanks in the fight.
• Take aim with a sniper and make every shot count.

Charging infantry advance through the rubble as MG34 and DP28 machine guns unleash bursts of fire. Tanks and artillery release deadly ordnance, while grenades add to the danger of every close-range encounter.

During nighttime and pauses in the fighting, loudspeakers spread dreary propaganda messages across the city, attempting to demoralize the enemy. Then the silence breaks: a sniper takes aim, fires a crisp single shot, and one more enemy is lost in Stalingrad.
