Dominion: Empires is a 2016 board game expansion for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. As the tenth addition to the game of Dominion, it brings new cards, tokens, scoring possibilities, and returning features to an already gigantic empire.

Empire life is grand, but it is also complicated. You may be responsible for lighting the sacred flame, sitting through committee meetings, deciding where to put a newly conquered continent, and avoiding assassination attempts with the help of a food taster and a dagger tester.

The set contains 300 cards and 96 metal tokens. Among its additions are cards that you can buy now and pay for later, creating a distinctive approach to handling purchases. It also introduces piles containing two different cards, adding another unusual feature to the available card supply.
