About this expansion

Dominion: Intrigue (Second Edition) is an expansion for 2–4 players with an approximately 30-minute play time, released in 2016. It adds 26 Kingdom card types that can be used with Dominion or Dominion (Second Edition).

Its atmosphere is filled with secret plots, coded messages, suspicious smiles, and plans unfolding behind the scenes. The result is a collection designed to bring the intrigue of hidden schemes to your Dominion games.

This second edition is not a standalone expansion because it no longer includes Basic cards. To expand the game to 5–6 players, use Base Cards. The set is intended to be combined with a base game rather than played on its own.

One card has received a mild functional change: Masquerade now skips players with no cards in hand. Other cards have updated wording while remaining functionally the same, preserving their original operation while making the rules clearer.
