Hidden Leaders

About this board game

Hidden Leaders is a quick, light strategy card game for 2–6 players, with games lasting about 40 minutes. Set on the island of Oshra, it places players in a struggle for the throne following the Emperor’s death.

Each player secretly takes the role of one of the Emperor’s six children. Every hidden leader is allied with two of the four factions, while the Hill Tribes and Imperial Army intensify their conflict. The Water People seek balance between the old rivals, and the Undead want the war to escalate.

Build your tableau by playing heroes either openly or secretly. These cards influence the balance of power and give other players clues about your allegiance. With direct player interaction, tableau building, and deduction elements, every play can change the direction of the conflict.

At the end of the game, one faction determines the outcome according to the position of the red and green factions:

• If red is leading, red wins.
• If green is leading, green wins.
• If red and green are tied, blue wins.
• If red and green are both in the War Zone, black wins.

Players aligned with the winning faction may claim victory, but only if they have more heroes of that color than any competitor. This distinctive winning mechanism creates tension as players try to influence the board while concealing their true objectives.
