About this board game

Hike! is a light, fast card-drafting racing game for 2–6 players, with races lasting around 45 minutes. Players become mushers, assembling husky sled teams and competing to be the first across the finish line in the snowy wilderness.

Each husky has abilities that help the team move across treacherous terrain. Players carefully select the dogs they want and place them in the sled according to each husky’s character, creating a team shaped by the choices made during the game.

Preparation is an important part of the race. Alongside drafting huskies, players gather equipment and train their dogs before setting off. These decisions combine with the abilities of the selected huskies to influence how each team handles the journey.

The title refers to “Hike!”, the command mushers use to start their team. With its quick card-drafting format and competitive race to the finish, Hike! offers a focused snowbound contest for players who enjoy assembling a team and seeing their preparations put to the test.
