About this board game

Historia is a civilization game for 1-6 players that spans 12,000 years of human history, from the first sparks of civilization to the development of the Singularity. The game has a listed play time of 120 minutes, with the official description estimating 25 minutes per player.

Guide your civilization as it discovers new technologies and expands across the planet. Trade with more developed neighbors to import technology, or exploit the land to gain more power for future actions. Military development opens the way to wars and raids, which are carried out in a non-disruptive manner.

Each player has a set of action cards to direct their civilization. Used actions enter a discard queue and later return to your hand, creating a changing supply of choices throughout the game. Alongside technology, expansion, trade, and conflict, you can build wonders that raise your civilization above others.

• Use national advisors to follow your leaders

As modern times arrive, the game ends, and the player with the most victory points wins. Historia also includes a solo variant featuring AI bots, offering a way to lead a civilization without a full group.
