About this board game

Hitler’s Reich: WW2 in Europe is a 1–2 player board game about the epic military contest of World War II in Europe, designed for a play time of around 120 minutes. It is built to set up in five minutes and finish in two hours or less.

Players fight for control across Europe, the North Atlantic, the Mediterranean, and Russia. Instead of stacks of armies or hexes, the game uses a combat system inspired by the traditional card game War, with dice added to shape the results of battles.

High-quality wooden pieces track each side’s progress on the battlefield. Competition for and play of Event Cards also support the struggle economically, politically, and militarily, creating important decisions beyond direct combat.

  • An Axis Event Card deck
  • An Allies Event Card deck
  • A shared deck that either side can attempt to draw from

These three distinct decks give each side access to its own events while also introducing competition over the shared deck. Together with the card-and-dice combat mechanism, they provide a compact way to represent a broad conflict without requiring overly lengthy rules.

Hitler’s Reich is the first game in the Card Conquest System series. The series focuses on comparatively simple, easy-to-learn games that are hard to master, offering historical flavor, excitement, and decision making in a format designed to reach its conclusion in one sitting.
