Hitster: Battle of the Generations is a music timeline game for 2–10 players, with an approximate play time of 30 minutes.

This stand-alone expansion takes the HITSTER experience into three legendary music eras. Choose your favorites from vinyl classics released before 1985, cassette and CD hits from 1986–2005, or streaming songs from 2006–2025.

The central challenge is to place music cards in the correct order. As the timeline grows, players must use the release periods represented by the cards to build an accurate sequence across their chosen musical era.
