Holiday Hijinks #6: The Groundhog Gambit is an app-assisted escape room-style game for 1–4 players that takes about 120 minutes to solve. In just 18 cards, your group must explore a mysterious manor, solve a series of puzzles, and escape before it is too late.

You have been invited to the stately home of the eccentric inventor Professor Archibald Timely, who is preparing to unveil a brilliant new breakthrough. Instead, you find cavernous halls filled with eerie silence—and an unsettling sense that you have already walked through them before.

As you investigate the mansion, puzzles may challenge your perception, wordplay, and lateral thinking. English language fluency is required, and the game is rated 3 out of 3 in difficulty, making it a demanding mystery for groups ready to examine every clue.

The companion website checks your answers and tells you which card or cards to take next. It also provides a graduated hint system to help your group get moving again when a puzzle proves especially difficult.

The Groundhog Gambit uses a non-destructible system. Writing on the cards is optional, and although a group cannot replay the game, it can pass the experience on to another group.
