About this board game
Honey Moon is a quick roll-and-write game for 2–6 players that takes about 5 minutes to play. Each player mines sweets from a moon made of sugar while trying to score more points than everyone else.
On every turn, players roll a six-sided die. The result determines how many spaces they must cross off as they extend their network of tunnels. Crossed-off spaces must always form a straight line, making each roll a simple but important decision as players develop their routes through the sugar moon.
If a player crosses off an item, they collect it. These collected sweets are the key to scoring, with points awarded for individual items as well as for completed sets of items. The goal is to make the most of each roll and gather a combination that produces the highest total.
- Roll a six-sided die each turn.
- Extend your tunnel network by crossing off the indicated number of spaces in a straight line.
- Collect any items you cross off.
- Score points for items and sets of items.
Once any player has collected the first set of sweets, a timer begins. That timer triggers the end of the game, adding a race against the clock to the search for valuable treats. Players then compare their total points, and the highest score wins.
With its quick turns, compact roll-and-write format, and clear scoring objective, Honey Moon is designed for a fast contest among two or more players. Roll, carve out your tunnels, collect sweets, and pursue the strongest sets before the game comes to an end.
